Nursery - A nursery is provided for children, infants through age 3 starting at 9:15. Parents need to sign -in their children. The nursery is divided into two sections: one area for infants/non-walkers and one area for walkers/toddlers. Our nursery is staffed by a minimum of two adult member volunteers who will care for your children while you are in worship and after church education classes.
3 year olds-preschool: Participating children will be dismissed from the worship service to the Fellowship room (east side of the building) during the offering--around 10:00 a.m. They will meet as a large group for opening greeting and singing and then head to specific classrooms for a Bible story and response. Parents who are not attending adult education classes after church may pick up their preschooler in the fellowship room at 11am. The focus is on Jesus Storybook Bible and His great love for HIs children.
Kindergarten-2nd graders: The children are dismissed from the worship service (about 10:00 a.m.) to the Fellowship room on the east side of the building for opening greeting and singing. They will then head to specific classrooms for the story and response. Parents who are not attending adult education classes after church are asked to meet their child back in the Fellowship room at 11:00 a.m. (east side of the sanctuary). The material focuses on worshiping God, the church calendar, and the stories of Jesus through simple figures and easy to understand lessons.
Grades 3 - 6: Students will meet in their classrooms in the lower level of the west wing of church from 10:30-11:30. The first 15 minutes will be a time of snack and sharing God-moments during the past week as well as prayer & praise concerns for the coming week. They will then have a discussion based on the Kid Connection Curriculum with a large group story and small group question time along with games and activities to apply the story to their everyday life. Kids will come back up to the lobby after class.
